Troubleshooting computer hardware problems and solutions can easily be found over the Internet. This is where people who have faced similar problems can share their experiences and give useful tips on how to solve them. The first thing that anyone can do is to check their Windows system or their hardware.

Common computer hardware problems mainly arise because of some small malfunctioning in the hardware or software. Their solutions can often be quite simple to implement. Admittedly, all of us face them in everyday lives whether with a PC or a laptop.

So, do not be panic. The following paragraphs contain common computer problems list which can help you identify the possible hardware or software issues and their solutions. First thing first – before calling up an expert, make sure you know what problem you are facing and what the possible solutions are. This is of course very important for the efficiency of your search for an appropriate solution.

BSOD or “blue screen of death” is probably one of the most common computer problems and their solutions. You might hear this BSOD mentioned as a catchall name for several possible errors and problems faced by your computer system – the worst being the blue screen of death.

The most common symptoms of a BSOD are the monitor hanging, freezing or even crashing. A computer with a BSOD will most certainly shut down without giving any warning.

The other common error that BSOD causes is the “mysteriously slow internet connection”. This issue is caused by a conflict between your hardware and software.

You may experience slow internet connection despite having a high-speed modem or cable connected to your router. Another solution for this issue is to upgrade your hardware and software.

Other hardware issues include random crashes, windows installer errors, flickering monitors, system file corruption and others. These too can be solved easily by troubleshooting your computer yourself. There are times when you may find that updating or installing a new piece of hardware is the solution to your problem. Sometimes upgrading to a new model of CPU or graphics card may also work wonders and resolve these issues.

Sometimes, your windows Task Manager will show multiple programs that are running but there is no hardware involved. This can be resolved easily by using an “lsbl” or similar tool.

By pressing SHIFT + CTRL + ALT you can bring up a list of running processes and show you the details of each one. The process listing will also list the CPU usage and time that they are being used. Now all you have to do is take a look at your windows Task Manager and decide which one of the programs is taking up the most memory and speeding up your computer the most.

Other computer problems are caused by malware or malicious software programs that have infected your computer. In these cases you will need to download an anti-malware program to clean up your computer. Running this program will remove any harmful malware that are in your windows system and also prevent future infections. These are some of the simple solutions that can be found online if you cannot seem to find any solutions to your problems.

If however your computer is continually beeping or powering off in the middle of tasks then it is likely that your operating system is suffering from a severe case of BSOD (blue screen of death). BSOD is a common problem that is seen on almost all windows operating systems but is mainly caused by software called the “BSOD” or the blue screen of death. In these cases you will need to repair the BSOD using an application known as a BSOD repair.
